This course has been made for anyone that would like a career as an Enforcement Agent (EA). This course covers all aspects relating to the roles and responsibilities of an Enforcement Agent. It includes Taking Control of Goods, EA Conduct, understanding the process of a number of different debt types, identifying and dealing with vulnerable people, understanding how to be an effective EA and also being able to effectively manage conflict. This Level 3 qualification is endorsed by the nationally accredited awarding body Highfield HABC and covers the requirements for the new regulations for Enforcement agents. With this course we also assist the candidate with the administration for their enforcement agent court certification process, making the certification process as easy and stress-free as possible. This cost of this course/programme includes:

Level 3 Certificate for Enforcement Agents (Bailiffs) Taking Control of Goods Course (Theory) certificate (for those that have successfully completed units 1 to 4 of the course),

CCJ Checks for every address lived in for 6 years (up to 6 checks),

DBS Check (Disclosure and Barring Service) formerly known as CRB,

Enforcement Agent Bond for £10000 over two years,

The certification fee to Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HM Revenue and Customs/HMRC),

You must successfully complete the assessment for all units and pass a classroom based exam to achieve the theory part on the course. You will then gain the Level 3 Certificate for Enforcement Agents (Bailiffs) Taking Control of Goods (Theory)course certificate. You will then attend the count court to obtain your enforcement agent certificate.

Once you have the EA certificate you will be about to work for enforcement companies. When you are working for an enforcement company and are ready for your practical on street assessment, we will then compete unit 5 of the course Practical

Assessment: Unit 5: Working as an Enforcement Agent

Be able to enforce a case effectively

Be able to identify potential hazards and carry out risk assessments in a real life situation

Be able to use observation to gain more knowledge of a case

Be able to communicate with a debtor effectively and confidently

The assessor will come on street with you for unit 5 and they can give you guidance and support, helping up improve the way you enforce. The assessor will mark you to confirm you can apply what was learnt in the classroom to real life.

If the assessor is happy you have completed all areas on unit 5 they will sign you off for this unit and you will gain the Level 3 Certificate for Enforcement Agents (Bailiffs) Taking Control of Goods (Practical) certificate.

You will be given:

• The Course booklet, this is full of information to help you through the course
• The Course Assessment Workbook, this is for you to complete prior to the classroom training and will be handed to your tutor in the class.
• The EndeavourUK information for EA certification form to be completed and email be to

the EndeavourUK office for processing and posting to court.

Learners will attend five(5) days classroom training from an experienced enforcement agent tutor, the tutor will deliver the 4 units in the classroom.

The tutor will assess the Workbooks and give guidance when needed.

On the last day in the classroom the learners will sit a two hour 60 multiple-choice questions examination.Learners will be told the result of the exam on the same day.

Successful learners will then gain the certificate used from the awarding body for the Level 3 Certificate for Enforcement Agent (Bailiff) Taking Control of Goods (Theory).Certificates will be issued within 10 days from exam.

Candidate will than attend the count court with paperwork that has been given to them by EndeavourUK and a county court Judge will review all paperwork and decide whether the candidate is a fit and proper person to receive an enforcement agent certificate.* The court date will be around 8-12 weeks from time the course is posted the competed application.

*EndeavourUK will ensure all paperwork is correct for the court certification, the judge on the court hearing date has the ultimate decision to issue an EA certificate, if the judge decides not to issue a certificate to the candidate and this is not due to paperwork then EndeavourUK takes no responsibility. The judge may reject an application for EA certification if the candidate has CCJs (County Court Judgement within 6 years), a criminal record, if the Judge feels the candidate is not a fit and proper person to hold the certification or if the candidate has not successfully completed the EA course.

*EA court certification must be renewed every 2 years. EndeavourUK is happy to assist with the renewal process for an administration fee.
