The Armed Forces and #TeamCES A Perfect Match - CES

As we approach Armed Forces Day, this Saturday the 26th June, we thought it would be as good a time as ever to remind all our followers about the powerful relationship we have with our Armed Forces.

As many of you will know, our team is made up largely of ex members of the Armed Forces, all the way from our new starters and trainees, right through to our CEO Gareth Haggerty.

It has long been an ambition of #TeamCES to not just support the Armed Forces through charity work and by raising awareness, but to proactively provide career options for our veterans as well.

We raise awareness and support charities too, of course, such as with the great work we do to support Walking with the Wounded in Manchester, but our commitment goes way beyond that.

As proud members of the Armed Forces Covenant, we are recognised for our commitment to recruiting veterans, providing them with industry specific training and then mapping out clear career pathways which provide security and opportunities for progression.

We offer former Armed forces personnel the opportunity to complete Elcas Level 3 training, giving them a direct route into an exciting and rewarding career as a Certificated Enforcement Agent.

Why do we do this?

There are two reasons.

Firstly, we want to provide forces leavers with a quality career, something to help them with their transition back into civilian life.

And secondly, we know that we are recruiting from a pool of dedicated, driven and hardworking people, who are totally committed to giving their all.

So, is it time to give ourselves a pat on the back?

Absolutely not.

Instead, we’ll use this Armed Forces Day as another opportunity to show our undying respect and total support to our incredible Armed Forces…

…by shouting it from the rooftops, that #TeamCES is ready and waiting to offer the advice and assistance that people need when they leave their roles in the Armed Forces.

We’re ready and waiting to offer them a new career, too.
