We’ve been around the block once or twice…

A story we saw recently, from Warrington, showed how concrete blocks have been used to prevent travellers from setting up illegal encampments.

The site, at an entrance to Birchwood Forest Park, had previously been trespassed on by a number of groups, with one particular group staying so long that the Council were forced to provide portable toilet facilities.

Well, no more, as ‘anti caravan’ concrete blocks have been installed, which should prevent reentry and any further attempts to set up illegal encampments on the site.

This got us thinking at #TeamCES, because this is a service we also offer…

There are no better companies out there than us, when it comes to dealing with traveller evictions, and our perfect success rate speaks for itself, but we would always have to say that ‘prevention is better than the cure’ (not to mention usually cheaper) and so installing concrete blocks could potentially remove the need for eviction further down the line.

If and when travellers do set up on a site, private landowners and Councils know that by calling #TeamCES, their issue will be brought to a resolution quickly and calmly, but installing concrete blocks could save time, money and a whole lot of headaches in the long run.

Our existing clients will already know that relationships are our speciality, and we build rapport with people from all walks of life. Mutual respect and proactive approaches help us get the job done, but so does taking measures like Warrington Council have done.

It’s not rocket science, but if you have a need for preventing caravans and other large vehicles from accessing your site, speak to #TeamCES about the things we can do to prevent it becoming an issue in the first place.
